There was an early shock on the cards, as Nathanael Wilson was dropped and stopped by underdog Jonny Phillips.
Phillips looked fired up from the outset in stark contrast to the fluid contempt of Wilson. The 29 year old started the fight with his hands behind his back strutting towards his opponent. However ‘Banks’ was soon on his back after catching a beautiful left hook counter.
Wilson Rose to his feet but was controversially stopped from continuing as Howard Foster waved it off. Phillips capitalized on the lack of activity of his opponent, throwing caution to the wind with a blistering pace, coming away with his first stoppage win. This lays to rest the debate of nurture vs nature, as Wilson showed no shades of his famous father, Chris Eubank.
