Youngster Callen McAulay scores an impressive first round stoppage victory against debutant Lee Hallet, at the Paisley Lagoon Leisure Centre.
It was evident from the ring entrance that the 19 year old had a large support as they let their voices be known in the crowd. McAulay did not let them down, as he started quickly with a solid southpaw jab, and sharp left hand counters. The speed and accuracy of the 1-2 combination were impressive, and it was evident Hallet would soon be in trouble. That moment arrived quickly, as Hallet was dropped with a huge overhand left. The Londoner did well to get up but was dropped again with a right hook. He rose to wobbly feet and the fight was waved off.
McAulay certainly underlined his potential as one of Scotland most promising prospects.
